Android 16 is nice, that means another 3 years (2028) of full security support. Android 13’s end of life will probably occur in 2026… so 1 year of guaranteed, official security updates.
I am sure the battery life will be much better on the AIPaper Reader. Palma has quite bad battery life and my AIPaper mini has incredible battery life.
That the lowest working setting is much less dim than any of the recent competitor devices I've tried. It's not awful, but some will find it too bright in a dark room.
It’s super convenient to be able to use cellular data.
I never use the phones on pocket readers, but that part can just be ignored. I used to think the same about cellular data, but couldn't do without that now - it's really nice using e-ink to check things out and about instead of using my smartphone.
