Our AiPaper does not have a built-in light for nighttime reading. However, the AiPaper screen is designed to be gentle on the eyes when used with a reading lamp. For those who prefer a built-in light, our AiPaper Mini features a front light with adjustable brightness, specially designed for reading.

Our AiPaper is designed to work seamlessly with our precision-matched electronic stylus, ensuring the smoothest writing experience and optimal writing effects. As such, an electronic pen tailored for AiPaper is included in our standard package to provide you with the best possible performance out of the box.

However, AiPaper is also compatible with certain electronic pens from other brands. While we recommend using our own stylus for the best results, you may experiment with other pens to see if they meet your needs and work well with your device. Please note that compatibility with third-party styluses may vary and should be tested by the user.

AiPaper is free to use for handwriting to text! However, it does not support converting file formats. When transferring files, we offer three options: JPG, PDF, and TXT; however, if the file is uploaded to AiPaper, it will support PDF, EPUB, TXT, JPG, and PNG files, organizing them into different sections according to the section requirements. Additionally, AiPaper supports the Viwoods default format, allowing transfers between different AiPapers for further editing.

The Viwoods AiPaper E Ink tablet offers exceptional battery life, supporting up to one week of daily use (2 hours per day) or 4 weeks on standby.

AiPaper supports handwriting-to-text conversion. You can convert your writing in three distinct ways: real-time as you write, selective conversion of any portion of the document, and full-page Al-powered recognition for unmatched accuracy.

With your Viwoods AiPaper pre-order, you gain access to all features, including AI interactions, at no extra charge. There are no subsequent fees required to utilize the complete functionality of your device.

You can add annotations to your reading and easily access them at any time. Annotations on the PDF files can be exported in PDF format along with the original contents to mobile devices or computers.

The search is limited to file names and tags. inner-page search will also only support typed text format, handwritten content cannot be searched.

Our product package does not include a keyboard, and the keyboard is not sold as an accessory. However, AiPaper supports Bluetooth keyboards or wired keyboards, which can be purchased separately or connected using existing keyboards.

The display language of AiPaper supports Chinese, English, Japanese, German, French, and Spanish. The keyboard language supports Chinese, English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, and Italian. There is no language restriction for handwriting input and file import. The AI functions also support multiple languages.

Currently, the apps installed on AiPaper are the most suitable for e-ink tablets. If you need more apps, you can search for them and download them from the app store. If the app you need is unavailable in the app store, you can try using Chrome to download it from the official website. Please note that there is a certain probability that the apps you download may not be able to be installed or used.

AiPaper does not have a card slot and cannot be used to insert an SD card. However, we support the use of third-party cloud drive apps, such as OneDrive and Pcloud, and have a built-in app called ViTransfer for file transfer. ViTransfer allows you to import files from AiPaper to other devices for storage easily.

AiPaper offers a spelling and grammar check function. The keyboard will underline misspelled words to prompt you to correct them. For handwritten content, you can select the text and use AI to check for grammar and spelling errors.

We offer various file protection methods, such as password and fingerprint locks. Additionally, individual file content can be password-protected. While our security features are designed to protect your content, please be aware that if your device is lost and falls into the wrong hands, we do not currently offer remote lock or content recovery options. It is crucial to regularly back up your content and utilize password protection for sensitive files to safeguard your data in case your device goes missing.

The feature for enlarging content is currently restricted to the Learning section, specifically for PDF formats. Users can utilize gestures or access settings to increase the content size. However, this functionality is not available for content within the Paper and other sections at present.

Currently the task bar is on the left. But we plan to make the task bar movable in future development so that users can adjust the position of the task bar according to their writing habits.

Viwoods AiPaper comes with a 14-month warranty that covers the AiPaper and AiPaper mini for functional defects. Please note that the warranty does not apply to accessories such as protective cases or pen tips, and it does not cover damage from accidents, unauthorized modifications, or the use of non-official accessories. After the warranty period, we offer cost-based repairs for the main device. It's important to be aware that any misuse or unauthorized repairs will void the warranty.
