If you own multiple devices such as a PC, smartphone, tablet, or Viwoods AiPaper/AiPaper mini, you likely use each for specific purposes. PCs handle work and complex tasks, and smartphones or tablets cater to entertainment and daily life. In contrast, paper tablets such as AiPaper&AiPaper mini, with their paper-like texture and distraction-free reading and writing features, help you focus, care for eye health, and enhance creativity and memory through handwriting.
Files often need to be transferred between devices. How can you achieve fast transmission and synchronization? Viwoods AiPaper offers several methods, each designed for optimal privacy, convenience, interactivity, and synchronization to enhance your file-sharing experience.
Minimal Restrictions - ViTransfer
How to use: Register and log into an account on AiPaper/AiPaper Mini, then log into the same account on my.viwoods.com. Files can be sent to the built-in ViTransfer app on AiPaper/AiPaper Mini or uploaded from other devices to my.viwoods.com for transfer.
Files stored on my.viwoods.com are retained for only 24 hours and are automatically deleted afterward. Think of it as a temporary file transfer hub. Since all actions require account binding and manual file selection, you can securely transfer important files across devices.
ViTransfer supports long-distance, large-scale file sharing. Simply access the link to receive files without additional restrictions, making it ideal for usage during business trips, remote study, or sharing materials with colleagues or partners.
Tip: For Over 1G large file transfers, consider using WLAN Transfer.
Fastest and Secure - WLAN Transfer
How to use: Within the same local area network (LAN), enter a specific URL to activate the content mirroring function. Select the files you need to transfer, and within seconds, they will be synchronized across devices.
Since all devices are on the same LAN, accidental file transfers to other devices are avoided, and no server needs to go through, ensuring accuracy and speed. In our test, files under 1GB can be transferred in seconds. This method guarantees security, stability, and supportable for large file transformation. However, transmission is limited to devices within the same LAN for safety reasons, so it has a distance limit.
Ideal for file backups and cross-device storage, WLAN Transfer is perfect for users who frequently transfer large amounts of data and require high-speed transmission.
PS: This feature will be introduced in the version 3.6.
Highly Interactive - WLAN Cast
How to use: Within the same LAN, enter a specific URL to enable screen mirroring. Any operation performed on AiPaper/AiPaper Mini will be mirrored onto another screen.
This allows real-time interaction and seamless presentation of your content, making it ideal for meetings, presentations, and project demonstrations. It is especially useful for sharing and explaining your tablet content to others.
Most Convenient & Flexible - Third-Party Cloud Sync
How to use: Configure synchronization settings in the general settings menu by linking your Dropbox, Google Drive, or One Drive account. Select the sections you wish to sync (1-6 sections can be chosen). Once set, tap the sync icon in the top bar on the home page for one-click synchronization.
After setup, synchronization occurs with a single tap—no need to select files manually. You can sync anytime, anywhere.
Users can customize synced sections (multiple-choice from Paper, Daily, Meeting, Learning, Picking, and Memo) and formats, offering high flexibility. Cloud-stored files can also be exported to AiPaper/AiPaper Mini.
With cloud synchronization, files can be accessed on a PC, smartphone, or any other device, making it ideal for cross-device collaboration and seamless file transfer.
PS: This feature will be introduced in the version 3.6.
Highly Stable - Wired Data Transfer
How to use: Select files for local export via the file management app, then connect a data cable to establish a stable connection for transferring selected content to another device.
This method is not limited by network conditions and requires no complex steps. Once connected, a stable transfer is created. Since no server is involved, there is no risk of data interception. Although it's a traditional method, wired transfer remains a reliable choice for security, stability, and independence from network conditions, making it suitable for regular file synchronization and backups.
PS: This feature will be introduced in the version 3.7.
