✅ What I Like About the VWOOD
• I think the VWOOD is a very good product overall, and there are several features that really stand out.
• The calendar integration is brilliant — it’s clean, organized, and very practical. That feature alone adds a lot of value.
• I really like the AI functionality. It’s smart, useful, and feels like a forward-thinking addition.
• The ability to connect with Outlook email and sync the calendar is another strong point. Having everything tied together like that makes it an efficient productivity tool.
• I also appreciate how thin and lightweight the device is — it has a clean, modern form factor.
• The writing surface is smooth and responsive, and even though it doesn’t feel exactly like paper, the performance and responsiveness are solid.
What Could Be Improved
• The lack of a backlight is a drawback. At night, I like to lie in bed and plan or doodle my ideas for the next day, and without a backlight, that’s difficult to do comfortably.
• A larger display would be a big improvement — something closer to the Remarkable Pro would give more room for planning and sketching.
• While the writing is smooth, it doesn’t really feel like paper. I personally prefer a more paper-like texture when writing or drawing.
• Color support would make a huge difference, especially when highlighting, planning, or categorizing tasks — even subtle color accents would help.
• The highlighter experience isn’t as clear as on the Remarkable — it’s hard to tell what’s being highlighted.
• The file upload process feels clunky compared to other devices and could be made more seamless.
• The system doesn’t allow for subfolders, which limits organization and makes it harder to structure documents the way I want.
• While the calendar integration is excellent, overall document management could be more flexible to match that level of organization.
