Overview
This update introduces new functionalities, resolves several known issues,
refines the application’s interface design, and enhances user experience and
system performance.
New Features
Paper
The highlighter now includes four color options: red, yellow, blue, and
green.
Cross-note content can now be copied and pasted using the Lasso Tool
within the app.
Learning
Folder and subfolder management is now available, allowing users to
organize books and materials more effectively.
The top menu on the reading page has been updated:
- The left-side icon now returns to the Library.
- The expansion icon has been moved to the top-right corner.
Meeting
Cross-note content can now be copied and pasted using the Lasso Tool
within the app.

Optimizations and Fixes
Optimized backlight display during sleep mode and charging(applies only to
AiPaper Mini)
Improved AI conversation experience.

Mailbox

Battery charging and status indicators have been added to the pull-down
control center.
A new setting to disable the three physical buttons is now available in the
pull-down control center.

AI Paper has fantastic quality of the screen. It really feels like a premium product. In terms of software it has a lot of potential, and I love some aspects of it—especially the ability to build my own ecosystem. I can read my newspaper on AI paper, I read my books. Software has still some limitations, also AI features could be better thought through, but I see that the viwoods team works quite fast, hopefully a lot of it will be soon. For instance, I wish the developers focused more on improving handwriting tools, file management, and annotations. I keep my fingers crossed for your success, I have chosen to use it AIpaper over Scribe and iPad, which I have used in the past.
I've been using my AI Paper for a few weeks now weeks and it has become an essential tool in my daily work routine. It see use every day at work for meeting notes, creating topology drawings, and recording general notes for the day. While there are areas that could benefit from improvement, it is already quite good and the Viwoods team is actively working on updates to fill in the gaps and make the experience all the better. It has greatly reduced my reliance on the notepads and Post-It notes I had everywhere while also looking very professional. Additionally, I find myself noting more information during meetings without the constant need to carry a laptop.
